 Diamond Trevally are a large and very attractive fish with a shinny, scaless, silver skin and boxed or diamond shaped body. They grow in excess of 15kg when mature but do lose some of their features as they grow. Not to many people target Diamond Trevally and the are usually a by catch when chasing other species. The fight well like most Trevally and will take you into the nearest rocky outcrop or reef to break you off. Fresh fish or squid fished low on the reef will be affective or trolled lures are also popular. Small Poppers and Metal Spoons are are great for younger fish on calm beaches.
